Who we are
We at AstroAngle.com (“we”, “site”, “website” or “AstroAngle”) are a small team of Vedic astrology students (you learn something new every day). Who love astrology, and want to help or entertain as many people as possible. We are constantly working on a “home-made” computer application, that will help us narrow down our focus on the parts of the birth chart that need the attention the most.
Information Collection
We gather the information that is required to fulfill our services through our forms. This is maintained in strict confidence. We guarantee the confidentiality of our users’ identity, birth details, and the prediction made possible under a legal regulatory and security environment. AstroSage further guarantees that no direct or indirect use will be made by AstroAngle about any information that is revealed in the prediction for a user, except for the explicit purpose of communicating the horoscope charts and predictions back to the user.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our log-in or form page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you use the site, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
When you visit the site and interact with the services and tools that reside there, AstroAngle and third parties with whom AstroAngle has contracted to provide services to AstroAngle may collect information on your actions. The purpose of this information collection is generally to gather broad demographic information that is not personal. We also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our software or our server and to administer our website. We track the visitor’s IP address to get more information on the visitor’s demography e.g. which parts of the world our traffic come from. We collect browser types used, screen resolutions, and time spent on the website to analyze trends, administer and troubleshoot the site, understand user linking and disliking within the website. All of this information is used for gathering broad demographic data to enhance the performance and services of the site.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
During submitting forms, AstroAngle collects personal information including your name, gender, birth information, email address, and place of birth and residence. This information is used to calculate your accurate horoscope. You do not have to provide any personal information to use AstroAngle’s services. However, if you choose not to provide all information of AstroAngle forms, we may not be able to provide you with some of the other services that require such information e.g. personalized free horoscopes readings.
How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights do you have over your data
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Payment security
We DO NOT collect any payment information on our website. It is collected and processed in a secured manner by third-party payment gateways, like PayPal and Stripe. We follow reasonable industry standards, technical measures, and procedural measures to protect against unauthorized access and use of your supplied information. However, you should know that neither we nor any other website can fully eliminate all the risks.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
